Lead Chef Duties Include But Not Limited To: - Must be experienced chef - Must be able to supervise staff - This is a leadership and cooking position - Experience in banquets preferred - Prep proper amount of food for service - Portion meat, poultry and fish - Communicate with Dining room staff and supervisor to ensure proper service - Ensure quality food - Control waste and timing - Accomplish tasks in a timely and efficient manner - Make sanitation a priority and keep areas clean - All kitchen staff is expected to work in all food areas if needed Lead Chef Job Qualifications: - Education: Culinary school degree, completed apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred but not required. - Culinary Experience Required - Licenses/Certifications: Food Handler's card may be required.
