Tomales Bay Foods, home of the Cowgirl Creamery, is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, cheese-loving Associate Marketing Manager. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing business and marketing efforts of Cowgirl Creamery’s line of certified organic dairy and cheese products, as well as supporting the growth of our portfolio of like-minded specialty foods. Working with our Marketing Manager, you will help drive growth across all Cowgirl Creamery and Tomales Bay Foods departments, focusing on company mission and emphasis on making and selling the highest quality products to achieve business goals.
What You'll Do:
Content, Creative & Innovation: • Oversee content creation, using consistent company-wide voice, branding and messaging • Work in collaboration with external partners, including PR, social media, graphic design and photography • Responsible for execution of marketing materials including retail and wholesale collateral, mail order catalogs, email newsletters, and web content • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design and development of new product and packaging prototypes, channel strategy, and business model development Business Management & Analysis: • Help to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities in wholesale, retail and mail order businesses • Project manage the day-to-day execution of brand growth-focused programs, packaging and marketing material updates • Research consumer and category trends through competitive analysis, consumer research and ongoing monitoring of activity at retail • Help analyze product and market data, synthesizing into strategic growth planning Planning/Strategy: • Assist Marketing Manager with development of 3 year strategic plans and integrated company-wide annual plans • Execute sales and marketing plan under the direction of Marketing Manager, working cross-departmentally with production
What You Bring:
• 1-3 years in Marketing or related role, including marketing strategy, social media campaigns, and collateral design • Working knowledge & comfort using Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, Google Apps • Knowledge of basic HTML & CMS • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must be able to work in multi-task and deadline driven environment • Previous experience with Constant Contact a plus
