We are looking for someone passionate about making great products to be an Assistant Cook on the Nona Lim team. You will be responsible for making sure that products are made safely, consistently, and with great quality through following our recipes, and standard food safety procedures.
• Follow manufacturing instructions precisely to make the required product. • Follow kitchen sanitation and cleaning checklists and other checklists, as instructed. • Use ingredients according to FIFO principles. • Manage inventory of ingredients. • Clean dishes, and the processing space after use. • Implement CCP procedures for cooking temp and ensure that products reach required temperature. • Ensure that the walk-in is kept clean and organized according to GMP and Storage SOP • Ensure that ingredients are received according to Receiving SOP • Fill out forms and paperwork for production records. • Maintain cooking equipment as per Equipment Maintenance Schedule.
• Have a passion for creating great products and take pride in your work • Work with hot products such as hot soup • Work in a continuously-standing position for five or more hours • Be able to frequently bend, stoop, and lift objects up to 60 pounds • Work various shifts (mornings, nights, and/or weekends), as required • Work as a team player at all times • Must have at least 1 year of kitchen or food manufacturing experience.
