The team at Tin Pot handcrafts ice creams, toppings, sauces, mix-ins and baked goods every day. The menu changes seasonally and there is a strong emphasis on organic and local ingredients. Position overview

*remote position during COVID-19 Shelter in Place

The Office Administrator coordinates office support services including purchasing and facilities management, performs routine clerical and organizational tasks, some bookkeeping responsibilities, acts as support to upper management, and handles a wide variety of other tasks.  We are looking for a highly adaptable and responsible individual with a positive attitude and growth mindset.

Required Abilities and Traits

Exceptional communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (Google Drive used internally)

Highly adaptable and responsible

Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency

Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment

Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner

Good team player with positive, can-do attitude

Able to problem solve and analyze data

Manage projects, adhere to deadlines and ensure team accountability


Bachelor’s Degree or Business Administrative Training Course preferred

1+ years in administrative role a plus

Has or willing to obtain ServeSafe Food Handler’s Card

Duties and Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls, messages and company emails

Answer door and assist guests

Manage and distribute information

Data entry and documentation

Calendaring duties

Bookkeeping and purchasing of office supplies and company equipment

Prepare and mail letters and packages, and distribute mail internally

Ensures deliveries are received and checked in, unpack and break down boxes

Create and implement general office organization and inventory

Conducts research and gathers documentation to compile reports

Creates spreadsheets and presentations

Create and maintain contact lists

Fills out and maintains paperwork and filters to appropriate departments

Assist in design and coordination of marketing materials

Maintain office facilities and coordinate repairs and improvements as needed

Help with orders and fulfillment as needed

Maintains open communication with entire management team about information affecting their teams

Plan and organize meetings, events, and parties

Some HR support including onboarding employees

Perform other duties as assigned
