Position overview

We are looking for an Account Executive (AE) to lead the strategic business growth for new and existing Workstream customers. As an early member of our Sales team, you will be working directly with our Head of Sales, to create business value across multiple channels, continually working to close sales opportunities with potential and existing customers. You will work closely with our Customer Support team to ensure renewals, drive expansion and continue to cultivate customer success.


The ideal candidate will have experience in Salesforce and sales acceleration tools, and have the ability to find, manage and close high-level business opportunities. Ideally, you are passionate, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, independent thinker and incredibly creative.

Your Responsibilities

  •  Develop and maintain expert knowledge on the features, benefits and application of Workstream’s products.

  •  Understand the industry and identify trends and offer solutions to sales/marketing teams

  •  Retain a “hunter” mentality to direct outbound lead sourcing and identify new opportunities across potential and existing customers.

  • Generate and close new pipeline across verticals through cold calling, emailing, demos, negotiations and marketing activity through Workstream.

  •  Effectively manage a book of accounts, create reliable forecasts, and work with management to close open pipeline to achieve sales quota.

  • Creatively penetrate new markets, verticals, and personas.

Your Qualifications

  • 3-5 years sales experience, preferably in SaaS
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
