Position overview

Workstream ( is looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us grow revenue. We are on pace to double in size this year and this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to start a sales career on the ground floor of an exciting software-as-a-service (SaaS) business. In this position, the candidate will be sending outbound emails, jumping on phone calls, showing software demos, and will close real software SaaS deals within weeks! Workstream is an automated hiring platform for hourly workers. We are a SaaS platform that cuts in half the time to hire, on-board and train hourly workers. We have clients ranging from restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, logistic companies, hotels to on-demand startups and more. Our main client contacts are the CEOs, COOs, VP of Human Resource (HR), HR managers at retail companies, technology startups and enterprise clients This opportunity will include working closely with him and the rest of the executive team to increase sales. It will also be an entrepreneurial opportunity as the team is a team of 10 people with the sales team being a team of 4. The selected candidate will be a key player on the team


Use tools such as LinkedIn, Zenprospect, Hubspot, etc. to perform outbound and inbound sales activities. Including prospecting, follow-up and closing Scrape data from Yelp, LinkedIn, Crunchbase with our software engineering team to come up with a list of potential leads to prospect and follow up on Meet and exceed monthly activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments set, opportunities added Research accounts to understand the customer’s need, perform effective follow-up, and generate interest Build strong relationships and effectively communicate with the sales, support and marketing teams Proactively look for opportunities to improve and optimize lead management Contact existing customers to obtain referrals, and cross-sell complementary products


High energy with a strong work ethic with a "get sh*t done" attitude. Willing and capable to dial a large volume of outbound calls and emails EXCEPTIONAL interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (great grammar) Experience with CRM/Contact Management Systems Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
