Workstream (www.workstream.is) is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow revenue. We are on pace to double in size this year and this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to start a sales career on the ground floor of an exciting software-as-a-service (SaaS) business. In this position, the candidate will be sending outbound emails and text messages, running experiments on outbound campaigns, and leveraging LinkedIn. This position will also involve jumping on phone calls with clients, showing software demos and you will get to close software SaaS deals within weeks! The primary role of this role will be outbound sales and operations, where you will work with the CEO closely to generate leads for the sales team to close. Also, this BDR will be fronting certain aspects of Customer Success, where the candidate will get a chance to build meaningful relationships with current clients, ensure their accounts are healthy and happy clients!
Use tools such as LinkedIn, Zenprospect, Hubspot, Hunter.io etc. to perform outbound and inbound sales activities. Including prospecting, follow-up and closing Scrape data from Yelp, LinkedIn, Crunchbase with our software engineering team to come up with a list of potential leads to prospect and follow up on Meet and exceed monthly activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments set, opportunities added Research accounts to understand the customer’s need, perform effective follow-up, and generate interest Build strong relationships and effectively communicate with the sales, support and marketing teams Proactively look for opportunities to improve and optimize lead management Contact existing customers to obtain referrals, and cross-sell complementary products
