Workstream is looking for an entrepreneurial, scrappy and passionate sales lead to be based out of San Francisco. The position will be the first outbound sales leader for the team, who will closely alongside the CEO to come up with a sales/growth strategy for the team. The position will involve working with the existing sales team of three to prospect and close client accounts, figuring out a sales/growth strategy and bringing the team to the next level. Initially, together with the CEO, there will be a lot of cold emails, phone calls, hustling, sales demo, prospecting, and will be a highly entrepreneurial role. The position will have a lot of room and opportunity to expand into a sales & business development leader within the team quickly as the team grows. You will be responsible for both leading the sales team with the CEO, and prospecting and starting new relations with clients ranging from middle market clients to large Fortune 500 enterprise companies. This means taking creative measures to map out the prospect’s organization chart, identifying key stakeholders, and communicating Workstream’s value offerings to the client’s business needs in an effective and professional manner. In addition to your inbound and outbound sales responsibilities, you will work with the CEO, to develop new leads, identify and develop new complicated sales opportunities and help close business. As a sales lead, you are responsible for forging the expansion of the corporate account base and bringing the team to the next level.
Willing to serve as player-coach and being responsible for individual close quota while building out playbook.
