Position overview

Willamette Valley Vineyards is looking for an energetic and positive part-time (up to 30 hrs/week) housekeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring company grounds and buildings are clean and safe while keeping the integrity of the company’s image and values. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the hospitality center, guest suites, public areas of production, all offices and break rooms.

Primary Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions

•Maintain a safe work environment by abiding by all safety rules and regulations in accordance with company policies, state and federal laws. •Vacuum and/or sweep all hospitality areas, including the Hospitality Lobby, Tasting Room, Pairings Bar, Kitchen, Club & Owner Room, Mezzanine, Production building lobby, offices and office areas •Mop hard surface floors, including concrete, vinyl, hardwood, and tile. •Clean, mop and restock paper supplies in bathrooms. •Clean windows & window sills in Tasting Room, Estate Room, Mezzanine, Founder’s Room, Pinot Room, Reception, and offices. •Cleans window sills on Tasting Room Decks. •Empty and clean all trash and recycling receptacles, inside and outside. •Clean signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and retail space. •Clean fireplace glass doors on a regular basis, and fire torch lights by three exterior sets of doors. •Dust glass shelving areas, gift shop items and wine bottles in the Tasting Room. •Clean smudges/fingerprints on windows as needed between professional window cleanings. •General cleaning of business rooms including but not limited to: sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning windows, trash removal, vacuuming. •Clean & prepare guest suites in accordance with the checklist. Replace missing items. •Wash guest suite linens and towels. •Advise if there are issues with inventory of equipment and cleaning supplies. •Ensure cleaning supplies are neat and organized, while always striving to make these more “green” and “earth friendly”. •Advise management of equipment & supply needs/problems. •Note issues with plants and report to landscape maintenance staff immediately. •Maintain work area in a neat and clean manner. •Supports Company’s effort to create a more sustainable and “green” environment to improve the company’s positive impact on the environment.

Requirements

•Lift 40 lbs. •Stand for long periods of time and work in a fast- pace environment. •Work weekends and evenings if necessary to accomplish key tasks. •Operate light power equipment, following all company, state and federal safety regulations. •Strong attention to detail. •Experience with general maintenance and/or housekeeping.
