Love working with people? Passionate about wine? Willamette Valley Vineyards is looking for an energetic and highly motivated person to join our team for our Wine Club Support position. This position is full-time and will require weekends. Position Overview: This position is a split position assisting the Wine Club Assistant with Billing, Communications, and Customer Service of the Wine Club and pouring in our tasting room.
Primary Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions
•Assist Wine Club and Ownership Manager and Wine Club Assistant to increase Wine Club membership and maintain a high retention rate through timely and professional customer service. •Send new Wine Club Members welcome letters. •Help Wine Club Assistant Process Wine Club shipments and troubleshoot and resolve problems. •Assist in working Wine Club pick-up weekends. •Process Wine Club membership signups. •Assist in following up with customers whose credit cards were declined via email and phone. •Performs monthly sales audit to ensure Wine Club sales are credited to the correct “sales rep” (P&P: Wine Club Shipment Add-On). •Works together with Wine Club Assistant to monitor Wine Club email and Special Preference document. •Make sure Wine Club shipments are well stocked in Tasting Room. •Works to keep all Wine Club pick up shipments current and less than 6 months old by calling members with 3 or more pick-ups. •Point of contact in the Wine Club Room on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays to help with Wine Club orders, customer service, and questions. •Assist Wine Club and Ownership Manager and Wine Club and Ownership Assistant with other duties as assigned. •Supports Company’s effort to create a more sustainable, cross-cultural and “green” environment.
Must be able to: •Lift 40lbs and navigate stairs and hilly terrain. •Stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment. •Sit for long periods of time. •Work weekends and evenings if necessary, to accomplish key tasks.

Most of these events are held over holiday weekends such as Memorial Day and Thanksgiving. •Communicate through active-listening skills and gather accurate insights into human behavior. •Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner. •Multitask, work independently and as part of a team. •Work well behind the scenes using discretion and keeping all information confidential. •Use point-of-sale (POS) systems, Google services, and Microsoft Office Suite. •Meet and exceed sales goals. •Effectively present information and respond to questions appropriately. Must Have: •A valid/current OLCC Server’s Permit and Food Handler’s Card. •Excellent communication skills •Highly-developed organizational and time management skills.
