Position overview

Share the Oregon wine story and experience a rewarding career representing our winery as a Brand Ambassador! This flexible position allows you to work from anywhere, connect with your community, and earn commission on wine sales. To help start your business, we will provide your first kit for $19!  

Brand Ambassadors are responsible for building and nurturing long term relationships with customers across the country for Willamette Valley Vineyards.

This is a part-time, commission only position, where the employee works when they desire.

Primary Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Plan and host wine tasting events in your community, exposing wine enthusiasts to Willamette Valley Vineyards wines and brand stories. Promote the sale of wine and membership. Oversee all aspects of event planning including ordering samples, creating tasting and sales materials.
  • Place customer wine orders in a timely manner.
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure wine was delivered and they are satisfied. 
  • Contact customers regularly for wine reorders and new hosting opportunities.
  • Support National Sales efforts in the local market as needed and when available. This can include in-store tastings and events. 

Database Management:

  • Create and maintain a contact management system of customer information. Include phone numbers, address, email addresses, wine preferences, frequency of purchases, gift buying info, birthdays, anniversaries. Continually update customer information and use this as a tool for building your on-going relationships. 
  • Submit contact updates to Winery Ambassador Manager or designee for updating in winery's CRM software.

Must have:

  • Well developed, detail-oriented, customer service skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently
  • A valid/current Alcohol Server’s Permit, if the state requires.
  • A passion for turning customers into WVV Wine Enthusiasts
