Love working with people? Passionate about wine? Willamette Wineworks is looking for a Concierge to join our team! This position is a regular part-time position with a schedule averaging 16-24 hours per week. Position Overview: Provide outstanding guest experiences through a warm sense of arrival and a fond farewell to all guests. Leads and directs guests to the appropriate areas in Tasting Room based on individual preferences, reservations, and traffic volume.

Primary Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions

●Greets guests in a warm, professional, and genuinely hospitable manner. ●Guides guests to Tasting Room bar, seated tables, private blending experiences, patio, or other appointments/locations and promptly notifies appropriate staff of their arrival. ●Process and prepares to-go or wine club pick up orders in a timely manner. ●Answers multi-line telephone system, answers customer questions, responds to any general inquiries left on voicemail ●Oversees all reservations for large parties and general blending experiences. ●Assists tasting room staff with tasks including, but not limited to, silverware roll-ups, washing and polishing glasses, filling, stocking, and serving chilled water, bussing, and resetting tables for service. ●Maintains menu stock, ensures their appearance, and replaces pages as needed ●Creates and types staff meeting minutes, correspondence, and memorandums in the proper format. ●Works efficiently with all departments of the company to ensure optimal guest service levels are being achieved and maintained. ●Continually enhances own knowledge of WVV’s products, varieties, appellations, markets, customers, competitors, and opportunities. ●Reception: Handles a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks, working independently with little or no supervision.


●Weekend availability. ●A valid/current Food Handler’s Card (or the ability to obtain one prior to start). ●Excellent customer service and communication skills. ●Highly developed organizational and time management skills. ●A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. ●Ability to use standard CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, POS, and department-specific related software programs. ●Lift 40 pounds. ●Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner. ●Communicate through active listening skills. ●Sit for long periods of time. Work most on-site winery events and Wine Club parties. Most of these events are held over holiday weekends such as Memorial Day and Thanksgiving. ●Communicate through active-listening skills and gather accurate insights into human behavior. ●Multitask, work independently and as part of a team. ●Work in a fast-paced environment. ●Work well behind the scenes using discretion and keeping all information confidential. ●Use point-of-sale (POS) systems, Google services, and Microsoft Office Suite.


●Supports Company’s effort to create a more sustainable, cross-cultural and “green” environment. ●Support the Retail Department by updating and documenting customer contact and credit card information in POS system. ●Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to Reception, as needed.
