The South Bend Cubs are the Class A minor league affiliate of the 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs. Over the past 32 seasons, the team has won four Midwest League titles, most recently in 2019, and has captured eight division titles. In 2019, the South Bend Cubs hosted the Midwest League All-Star Game. In June 2017, Four Winds Field, home of the South Bend Cubs, was voted Best Class A ballpark in the country by Ballpark Digest. In 2015 the team was named Ballpark Digest's Team of the Year and received the John H. Johnson President's Award, the highest award in minor league baseball. Position overview



CUSTODIAL SERVICES: Prepare and keep the stadium clean at all times. Areas of focus, but not limited to, seating bowl area, restrooms, concourse, indoor/outdoor suites and stadium grounds. The cleanliness of Four Winds Field is of the utmost importance to ensure a positive fan experience.

HOSPITALITY HOST (USHER): Check all ticket stubs and wristbands for admittance to Dugout, Field and Group Seating areas. Wipe down all seating areas prior to the opening of gates. Must provide professional customer service. Acts as a liaison to all guests with questions or complaints.

PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS: Responsible for the safe movement of people entering and leaving the parking lots. Maintain order and safe movement of traffic direction. Must keep an eye on parked cars to prevent vandalism or theft. Will be responsible for accurate accounting of money tills.

TICKET SELLER: Prepare and sell all game day and advance tickets with emphasis on efficiency and accuracy. Must have good customer service and communication skills. Will be responsible for accurate accounting of money tills.

TICKET TAKER: Scan all ticket stubs as guests enter Four Winds Field. Responsible for checking date accuracy, assist in control of food and beverages admitted to the ballpark. Emphasis on efficiency and professional customer service.


BARTENDER: Bartenders provide positively outrageous customer service to patrons at the Stadium Club bar and other bar locations during all events at the facility. They will assist with bar set-up, inventory management, and bar cleanup at the conclusion of the event. As one of the front-line customer service employees, suite bartenders must be professional, helpful, and enthusiastic to excel at this job. *Must have prior bartending experience*

CONCESSION / PORT CASHIER AND RUNNER: This position is the "face" of the concessions operation. These employees are expected to provide "positively outrageous customer service" to all customers. Their duties include gathering food as ordered and utilizing the POS system to input customer orders and make change accordingly.

CONCESSION STAND LEAD/PORT MANGER: The Concessions Stand Lead/Port Manager is responsible for the game-day operations of concession stands or ports at the facility, including insuring that they are operating efficiently and that inventory levels are controlled. This person will direct approximately 15-20game-day food service employees, including cashiers, runners, and cooks. He / She is also responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels at the concession stands throughout the game, and reconciling inventory counts at the conclusion of the event.

KITCHEN COOKS/PREP: The Kitchen Staff employees are responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the cooking and delivery of food for the entire catering & concessions operation at the facility. The catering operation consists of several luxury suites with a full-scale menu and multiple picnic venues; the concessions operation consists of multiple stands and ports located throughout the concourse. These positions will require individuals with cooking skills to be able to provide food for all catering venues & concession stands within a short period of time. This will also require individuals with excellent time management and organizational skills.

VENUE SERVER: Under the general supervision of the Catering Manager, a Venue Server provides positively outrageous guest service to picnic guests at each facility's picnic locations. They will assist with picnic set-up, serving, and cleanup at the conclusion of the event. As one of the front-line guest service employees, a Venue Server must be professional, helpful, and enthusiastic to excel at this job.

WAREHOUSE: Under the general supervision of the concessions and catering managers, the warehouse staff is responsible for stocking each location based off of predetermined needs list. Also, the staff is responsible for any necessary restocking of product during the events.
